Wine & food is in Carien Hugo’s blood with her father being a cheese-making butcher and mother an amazing cook (that grew up on a wine-grape producing farm).

It became a career when she studied hospitality management and took her to top hotels in Scotland and in South Africa. Wine was the more influential passion and she has been working full-time in the wine industry since 2005.
